Cycling has always been a passion of mine. I love the feeling of power and freedom when I ride. However, riding the bike does not pay the bills. Building things, Fixing things, and Creating things, these are the drivers that get my juices flowing in life and business. So I abandoned my ideas of becoming a professional racer and went on to get my BA in Psychology and an MBA. I spent 11 1/2 years working for FranklinCovey helping organizations run better, and in 2007 I joined Focus & Execute facilitating companies through their strategic planning and strategy execution processes. While helping companies and people get focused on their highest priorities and execute on them, I never lost my passion for either cycling or business. As I would ride, the metaphors between cycling and business were constantly in my head. Under the asumption I am not the only one who would find this idea appealing, I decided to bring them to you in an effort to help you think differently, and get better results in your business. I hope you enjoy the reading and will join me for one of our Cycle of Business Leadership Weeks.
